Mai-Star II out of the water for a mid season clean up and repaint

The boat tucked in between a few other yachts to keep wind off hull helping not to dry out too much.

One of the jobs is to sort out the bottom rudder fitting as there is a fair bit of wear on the fitting.

A fair bit of work needed to be done on the top of transom to make it good.

First coat of primer now ready to rub down ready to get a second coat of primer to build up the paint layers

Also the bottom needs sorting out with a few places in need of attention before it goes back in the water.

The other job that needs doing before it goes back water is the cabin sides and roof and the cockpit coamings and the fitting of the cockpit seats and the autohelm and the fuel tank under the cockpit floor.
